Incorporate the bits and pieces of your life into a unique individual piece of art
New Class beginning Jan 2012.
Beginners Class for Stained Glass Mosaics. Come on...its fun !
What is better than having the gratification of a beautiful mosaic in your home? Art and function can join together in the most amazing ways not only look wonderful but can serve the individual in practical ways. Above a mosaic art table made form a discarded coffee table and brought back to life. What a wonderful new insight into recycling.
Functional Art (mosaic table above)
The versatility of Mosaic Art lends itself beautifully to outdoor art projects. In the picture above Renee Beasley is constructing a water wall that created visual beauty to her backyard as well as the blissful sound of trickling water. There many materials we use that are weather resistant and can give a lifetime of beauty.
Outdoor Art
We are planning on a class for showing students how to build a mosaic water feature. These pieces can be enjoyed in the backyard, porch or a room in the house. It is recommended that students attend the beginners class in January prior to attempting this intermediate level class
Functional Mosaic Art:
Water Features
We enjoy doing mosaic projects for people and their homes. Door Glass, Windows, Fire Place Facades and more. If you are interested in having a mosaic project for your home, please give us a call.
Beautiful and Unique
Mosaic Art has a tendency to remain unique. Unlike mass produced paintings, more often than not, each Mosaic Art piece is unique and cannot nor will not ever be duplicated. Many pieces are made unique and specific to the individual who commissions us. We frequently include objects, bits and pieces of memorabilia that are personal and special to the owner. Memories captured for ever embedded into the mosaic picture. An heirloom piece, a bit of broken china, jewelry, something from your travels, can be become part of something very special instead of being hidden away and forgotten in the bottom of a drawer.
We recommend postponing purchasing materials and tools for the class until you have attended the first class. I will give you tips and pointers that can prevent unnecessary purchases and save you money
